New Prime Minister Oli took oath
Newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has taken the oath of office and secrecy.
President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Prime Minister Oli.
On Sunday, President Ramchandra Paudel appointed Oli as the Prime Minister.
He was appointed as the Prime Minister by President Paudel according to Article 76 (2) of the Constitution.
On June 28, the Chairman of the Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, was relieved of his post as Prime Minister after not receiving a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives.
According to the new power equation between Nepali Congress and UML a few days ago, Oli became the Prime Minister.
